 Steven
Nicolet is a seasoned fundraiser with experience in both higher
education and the non-profit sector. He is currently the Director
of Development at Community Action House in Holland, MI. He is
responsible for planned giving, major gifts, annual giving, donor
relations and gift processing. Mr. Nicolet oversees marketing and
communications including the organizational website. He served as
the Director of Annual Fund at UNC-Chapel Hill in the Business
School for three years. He spent two years as the Director of
Annual Giving at Florida International University. He previously
implemented an annual giving program at Grand Valley State
University (Michigan) as the Manager of Annual Giving. Prior higher
education and philanthropic experience includes employment with
Siena Heights University and The Heart of West Michigan United Way.
He has an undergraduate degree in Public Administration from Grand
Valley State University, an MA from Central Michigan University and
completed the Certificate in Fundraising Management (CFRM) from The
Fundraising School of Indiana University.
