Alexis
Carter-Black has been employed as the Coordinator of Grants and
Contracts at Oklahoma City Community College since 2000. She is
responsible for proposal development and
administration, including
monitoring an average US$1.7 million in annual grant funds. She
previously worked for the Oklahoma State House of Representatives.
She has a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a Masters degree
in Public Administration (both University of Oklahoma). Ms.
Carter-Black is the author of "Getting Grants: The Complete Manual
of Proposal Development and Administration," to be published by
Self-Counsel Press in April 2006.
