| How are life insurance premiums and policies be counted? |

You can count the premium payment made to the institution by the donor
if the institution is the owner of the policy. If you are not the owner and you realize a death benefit the whole amount can be counted upon receipt of the proceeds. You can also of course, gift soft credit to the donor for recognition purposes for the face amount of the policy. |
