SupportingAdvancement.Com Major Gifts Report. | | February revealed a surge in new Major Gifts. From the first half of the month I tracked $154 million in major gifts that was surpassed in the last few weeks with $305 million more for a total of $459 million for February, 2010. This includes only those major gifts that I find in my day-to-day survey and is not the total amount of giving. Take note of more evidence of what I refer to as Pockets of Philanthropy in 2009, when you review the campaign results from the Jewish Hospital and St. Mary's Healthcare in Louisville plus the over goal report from the United Way in Roanoke, VA. Congrats all around. Terry Burton from Dig in Research. | | 3/15/2010 11:01:04 PM |

ResearchBuzz Free Footnote.com Census Access! | | Footnote.com, my favorite genealogy Web site that periodically gives terrific levels of free access, has announced that it’s making access to its US census documents available for “a limited time.”
